FAMOUS TEA FROM HUNAN

Tea harvest season comes around March and ends in September every year in Hunan. Farmers are picking fresh tea leaves in the plantation.

Junshan Yinzhen

Junshan Yinzhen or Junshan Silver Needle is yellow tea. The process for making yellow tea is similar to that of green tea but with an added step of steaming. This allows the tea to oxidize at a slow rate.

Dark Tea

Please don’t confused with black tea, dark tea’s process is totally different. Main process for black tea is oxidation, but microbial fermentation is the key step for dark tea. As probiotics exist,

many Chinese people drink dark tea for improving digestive system and slimming.

Chunmee

Chunmee is a typical green tea with long strip appearance. It’s a main type for export. 41022, 4011, 9371, 9367 and 9366 are regular standards.

Hunan is a main producing area for Chunmee.
