Black Tea

Black tea, also called red tea in China, gets the name from the red color of its tea water and leaves after being brewed.

Anhui, Fujian, Yunnan, Hunan, Hubei and Zhejiang are famous areas for black tea in China.

Black tea is a type of tea that is more oxidized than oolong, yellow, white and green teas. It is generally stronger in flavor than other teas. Main process for black tea is withering, rolling, oxidizing, drying, grading and packing.
